Cure's Tasting Menu will feature Housemade Chicken Gallantine, Boudin Blanc and Whole Roasted Branzino, accompanied by the best seasonal array our Public Market has to offer and wines specifically paired to each remarkable dish. 

 

Cure is a farm-to-table French restaurant and craft cocktail bar located in the heart of Rochester's Public Market. Featuring innovative expressions of classic French cuisine, locally sourced ingredients, a progressive beverage program, intimate ambiance and a cultivated aesthetic, Cure sets the pace for Rochester dining. Chef-owner Dan Martello and Co-Owner Chuck Cerankosky's unique vision and integrity of spirit are at the helm of this urban gem. Originally hailing from Colorado, Chef de Cuisine James Revels made his way to Rochester via Riverwalk Bistro in Milwaukee and Follia/Tocco group in Chicago. He began working for Chef Martello at Restaurant Good Luck and was selected exclusively to lend his twenty plus years experience toward the opening of Cure. Wine Director/GM Caitlin Graham, a long-time Rochester resident, began her food and beverage career with Chef Martello at downtown hotspots Tonic and Pearl. She continued to hone her skills with the Max restaurant group, 2 Vine and Osteria Rocco. Rejoining  Chef Martello for the opening of Cure,  Graham has worked in tandem with Cerankosky to develop their celebrated beverage program. Heralded in local media as well as Edible Finger Lakes, Esquire and Elle magazine, James and Caitlin are excited to bring you a taste of Cure and behind-the-scenes insight into how this collaborative menu is changing the face of a night out in Rochester. Chef Matthew Petrillo is a 27 year old up and coming chef in the Rochester Market. Matthew grew up in the restaurant and food industry with a grandfather that owned Antonetta’s Restaurant, an institution in Rochester, and a step father that owned Heluva Good Cheese and Yancey’s Fancy Cheese.  The love for food and it’s preparation was destined to be.

 

Matthew started his education in business at Arizona state and after 2 years came to the realization that getting back to Rochester and his roots was what he was meant to do.  He returned and began learning and training at Antonetta’s while enrolled in the Culinary and Hospitality program at MCC.  Quickly realizing that he wanted to learn more and take it to another level, he started a second job at Good Luck.  After 2 years training at Good Luck he was chosen to move to Cure and help open the restaurant and be one of 2 main Chefs.

 

After 1 year at Cure Matthew and his parents decided it was time to take on a business venture of their own and The Meatball Truck Co was born.  It quickly gained popularity and success to the point that they needed a prep kitchen and the thought of taking over his grandfather’s popular restaurant of Antonetta’s came to fruition.

 

 

In July 2014 Matthew and his parents took over Antonettas and merged it with The Meatball Truck Co and an exciting future began.  He continues to operate The Meatball Truck Co LLC and Antonetta’s and has gained a substantial following of loyal customers in the Rochester Market.
